A special Central Bureau of Investigation Court on Thursday rejected the bail application of Zahida Parvez, the main accused in the 2011 murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood.
The Special CBI court on Friday adjourned the trial in the Shehla Masood murder case till April 10 as the new CBI prosecutor sought time to secure documents on call details in connection with the case from private telecom companies.
As the trial of right to information activist Shehla Masood murder case is underway, the Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday sought permission from the special court here to examine the main accused Zahida Parvez and co-accused Saba Farooqui in the judicial custody.

The trial of RTI activist Shehla Masood murder case started on Friday at the Special Central Bureau of Investigation court in Indore with the examination of first prosecution witness M R Uikey, an assistant sub-inspector of police who was the first to arrive at the murder site. The trial is being presided over by Judge Anupam Srivastav.
